Panadería Del Barrio

A Young Bakery By An Old Mill Compound

Branding | Packaging

Tucked away near the old, well-loved mill of Molino De Enmedio in Puebla, Mexico, you'll find the Panaderia del Barrio - a bakery that's become the neighbourhood's go-to spot.

The bakery's logo gives a shout-out to the mill but keeps things simple enough to stamp on bread. After a lot of doodling and brainstorming, we ended up with a design that meshes wheat grains and the mill's chimney - and if you look close, you'll spot a 'B'. The typographical style draws its inspiration from local Mexican design aesthetics.

We didn't stop at the logo, though. The branding and packaging get in on the action. By breaking down the symbol into a grid, we create and expand into a fresh, modern design that younger customers would love.
